General FAQs

Is there car-parking close to Nantwich Hearing Centre?

Yes there is both a short-stay and a long-stay car park within a few minutes walk of our Centre. You will find a map on our contact page but please contact us on 01270 611212 if you need more detailed directions.

Will my hearing aid work properly?

Yes. It does take time to get used to wearing hearing aids and you will need some follow up support. At Nantwich Hearing Centre we provide a full after care service included in the price of your hearing aids. You will be offered regular follow-up appointments so we can make any necessary adjustments to make sure that you are getting the very best from your hearing aids.

Are hearing aids unattractive and uncomfortable?

No. Like other items such as mobile phones and cameras, technology has moved on and today’s hearing aids are smaller, lighter and very discreet. In some cases they are totally invisible and others won’t know you are wearing them. A hearing aid should never be uncomfortable. At Nantwich Hearing Centre we will ensure yours fit perfectly.

If I have a hearing test, will it definitely mean that I need a hearing aid?

No. We will never tell you that you need a hearing aid if you don’t. You will receive clear, honest advice based upon the results of your hearing assessment. We will help you make an informed decision and you will never be under any pressure.

How long will my hearing test take?

We always allow an hour and a half for a full hearing test. Unlike other bigger organizations, we take the time to do a thorough assessment to ensure you get the very best results.

Who will carry out my hearing test?

Your hearing test will be conducted by Alan Jackson, who is a qualified Audiologist registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC). All your fitting and aftercare appointments will also be with Alan.

Where will my hearing test take place?

Your hearing test will take place at our Nantwich Clinic or we can come to your home if this is easier for you.
